Sleeping Babies

This is how our Brooklynn likes to sleep

note all the "stuff" in her crib and the P.J.'s and undies on the side. Basically every night she strips down before falling asleep and uses her Tori doggie as a pillow instead of her pillow. However, she normally insist on using her "soft blanket Mommy made me" which is the pink and brown blanket.

This is how our Emmett likes to sleep

Sound machine on loud and lovey on face. He falls asleep on his right side and rolls to his back. And yes I do remove the lovey off his face after he falls asleep

Most mornings when Brooklynn wakes up she wants Emmett to snuggle with her before she gets out of bed

Soooo close except that Brooklynn was double Emmetts age.

Crazy to think that Brooklynn was the same size that Emmett is now while running all around at her cupcake birthday party.

For New Years Eve we went to the Children's Museum for the count down to noon.

 

 

More pictures of our Christmas fun

We were very lucky to have both friends and family invite us over to decorate cookies before Christmas. The week of Christmas Brooklynn was having a friend over to do crafts with her and she wanted to send her home with "Christmas treats" (like we got when we went to my friends house for a cookies exchange). Well I'm a little too busy with two to be baking like my friend so I went the super easy route...cut marshmallows in half, had her dip them in melted chocolate chips then dip into a sprinkles and candy cane pieces. She love it... her friend loved it and it was not biggie for me :)

On Christmas eve the kids got in their Christmas PJ's and enjoyed a Christmas movie with Mom and Dad. My favorite part was the hot chocolate we shared together :)

Brooklynn is great about including her little brother in everything. I'm so proud of her!!

Todd Update...3 Months Post Surgery

Well it has been about 3 months since Todd's surgery. I figured I would give a little update.

First he has had multiple blood test over the last 3 months and they have all came back looking great - YEA

Doctors said that it would take about 6 months for Todd to start to feel normal again. However, he does not complain that his head hurts anymore when he bends over ... so maybe he will be totally back to normal by 6 months   ; )

He has his 3 month post surgery MRI tomorrow afternoon. We will get the results and when Todd meets with the neurosurgeon on Friday...We are very confident that they got the entire tumor during surgery but it's routine to have multiple MRI's.

He is still having some problems with his medications. He met with his regular doctor last week but he did not want to touch Todd's meds at all especially since Todd has an appointment to see his specialist late this month. I am really hoping to get two of his medications switched!!
