Annual Trip to High Roll Away

Every year we take a trip to High Roll Away to see the colors, hike and have cider and donuts... yes we eat a lot of donuts in the fall.  The view from High Roll Away is legendary but we enjoy the scenery from the drive in just as much... Actually, I think the kids liked it better. Brooklynn actually gasped a few times.  They were yelling they were so excited while driving to the "parking lot".

Brooklynn's First Day of Kindergarten

We never took 5 year photos of Brooklynn with me or Todd... just of her. One morning out of the blue she requested new pictures for her bedroom. Todd was really busy that day so we met him on his lunch break for a quick 3 minute photo shoot then the kids and I went on a short hike and took a few more pictures for her.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brooklynn's First Ever Dance Class

 

Her class will be performing on of the evening Thursday December 5th and she is very excited. She will have a large audience there to watch her... Mom, Dad, Emmett, Grandma Ju Ju and Great Grandpa and Grandma Compton.

Emmett's First Day of Playschool

My baby started preschool... just one day a week for 2 hours but wow my baby is in school.
I thought I would be super excited to see him go to school but it turns out I was more sad as I realized just how fast he is growing up.

The year starts off with socials for the families to meet and one on one conferences for the students to meet the teacher and spend some time in the classroom.  Here are pictures of both Emmett and Brooklynn in from of the cubby they picked for the year.

And here are some pictures from Emmett's first turn as Star Friend at the co-op. He was super excited to be the Star Friend. The teacher does a great job of making them feel special.

 

 

Brooklynn's First Day at Playschool

Brooklynn is attending another year of preschool (3rd year) at the cooperative preschool... We seriously love this school especially the teacher.  Because I have two kids at the preschool I signed up to be on the school board. I was a crazy busy summer on the board but now that school has started its calmed down a little (opposite of what I expected).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to playschool at the co-op Brooklynn is also homeschooling.
