Family Pictures

I wanted to get some family pictures taken outside in the winter. When it warmed up (kind of) we headed out with a girlfriend of mine for some quick photos then a playdate at her house.

Here are some of the pictures taken... I may post more later but the kids are both napping and I wanted to take the opportunity to get a few up when I had some 'free time' (is that a real word for a mom?).

I have not picked my favorites just yet but we will be printing may for around the house. Well I guess I do have some favorites already... the picture of me kissing Emmett and the picture of our feet dangling off the dock.

On Emmetts blog I posted to him that after reading some parenting books I wanted to have more pictures in every room of our house. Brooklynn has a lot in her room already (but she would love more) and Emmetts room and ours had about 3 each but the other rooms in our house are lacking. We plan to do a wall of shame in the living room. I had 3 8x10's printed for our bedroom about 3 weeks ago so now 'all'  I have to do in get the frames for them.

Let me know what your favorites are because I want to incorporate a couple of these into our wall of shame :)

I'm not exactly sure when it happened or even how but Brooklynn is a Daddy's girl now??? Never imagined that this day would ever come.

Family Pictures Sneak Peak

Yesterday we ventured outside to get some family pictures. The temperature was 50 degrees but it still felt super cold with the wind. Thus the kids were not their normal smiley self but the pictures turned out great.

A creatively talented friend, Jessica Stimpson took the pictures for us. Thank you Jessica! We appreciate all your time and will cherish the pictures forever.  Also, thanks for giving me the sneak peak on Face Book so FAST!

Fun Outside With Miss B

We were playing outside at the house a couple of weeks ago and I grabbed out the camera to get a few shots of our beautiful little girl. We love you!!

 

Happy Valentines Day

We had fun plans for Valentines day this year for Miss B but she woke up at 1am with a 101.8 temp and even with Motrin she was bouncing between 102 and 103 degrees today. Poor baby.

I'm so glad we went the the Valentine party with our friends and got dressed up and passed out a few Valentines to our friends at God's house on Sunday. We were going to have a tea party here tomorrow but I canceled that this morning...now I HAVE to eat the 24 cupcakes I made last night and I wonder why I have not yet lost all the weight from Emmett.

I have pictures to share from the party and of the Valentine craft projects we did but someother night.

Brooklynn's date nights with Mommy and Daddy

Last weekend we took Brooklynn to a sledding party. We enjoyed fast trips down the big hill, snuggles by the bonfire, a great dinner in the lodge by a fire and a lot of goodies. Brooklynn's favorite was the hot chocolate.



This weekend the three of us went to the Disney and Desserts..​.and BROADWAY! concert. Children were encouraged to dress in their favorite character costumes so Brooklynn went in her Minnie Mouse Halloween costume. It was a lot of fun to see all the excitment in her.  

We want to thank all the babysitters for Mister Emmett.  Without you we would have stayed home :(
