Nature Walk With Mom

Todd takes the kids on hikes in the woods often. We each put a kid in a back pack and walk away. However, last Monday I took the kids by myself on a nature walk around the Grand Traverse Commons.  No back packs. The kids walked, picked up rocks, sticks etc. and stopped to rest.

Brooklynn found a large sticks for her Daddy and wanted to bring him home the BIG rocks too. However, I had to draw a line when they were getting to big for her to carry herself in her purse. (My hands were already full of her treasures).  She settled for me taking pictures of her by the treasures she found for her Daddy. Brooklynn must have told me 10 times that on our next nature walk we needed to bring a stroller for all of "our" stuff.
